We accept application forms from birth and maintain strict waiting list criteria which are set out in our admissions policy, a copy of which is available on the policies page. Our admission criteria take into consideration birth order, length of time since registration, siblings currently in pre-school or Parkgate Primary School and exceptional circumstances. Our application form asks you to state your preferred days and sessions and we will do our best to accommodate your wishes however this is not always possible and we do try to offer alternatives whilst keeping your child’s name on a waiting list for your preferred day or session.
A letter confirming your preferred days, along with an invitation for a short familiarisation visit, is sent during the term prior to your child / children taking up a place.
Unplanned admissions are accepted dependant on place availability and in the event that we are unable to accommodate your requirements immediately the child’s name will be placed on our waiting list.
Pre-school operates a non – discriminatory policy and all children are welcome regardless of race, gender, religion, disability or special educational needs.
Contact names and numbers for enquiries about admissions are listed in the ‘contact us ’ section.
Pre-School take the issue of safeguarding children very seriously. All staff have attended child protection courses and we have in place extensive policies and procedures, to ensure the security of children at all times. Full details on all of these policies can be found on the policies page.
